For the 10th anniversary of the company, POHL FORCE presents the first knife with blade made of precious damascus steel in the new EXCLUSIVE series. Damascus smith Chad Nichols from Blue Springs, Mississippi could be won for this project. His hand-forged damascus steels are among the best in the world and are highly valued by collectors. From the steels AEB-L and AISI-304, he forges with high craftsmanship a stainless damascus with more than 200 layers. The individual layer structure of the damascus makes every single knife unique. POHL FORCE deliberately chose the scrambled damascus pattern, which blends perfectly with the structure of the precious and selected walnut root wood.
In order not to disturb the color harmonious unity between the damascus blade and the handle of the Mike Five Damascus, designer Dietmar Pohl decided to produce the two liners, the lock-back and the clip with an anthracite-colored stonewashed finish. Only the screws and the spacer form a deliberately contrast in deep black. The massive stainless steel bead on the lanyard was also completely redeveloped. The bead takes on the design of the one-hand blade lifter and was like the entire knife also manufactured at Lionsteel in Maniago, Italy.
For the last ten available Damascus blades of the exclusive Mike Five Damascus Edition, designer Dietmar Pohl has come up with something special. The result is the Mike Five Tactical Damascus with black G-10 handle scales, completely black lanyard and a black leather holster for free. Delivery only while stocks last!
